The firm

We hold names for the companies that will grow into them.

LeaseToOwn.com is a private holding company. Our portfolio is built around a single idea: the shortest, clearest, most literal addresses on the internet were claimed decades ago and are never re-issued. There is no way to manufacture more of them.

We work directly with founders, boards and the advisors who represent them. There is no marketplace account to open, no bidding, and no public price sheet — a name of this class is discussed privately, quoted privately, and papered properly.

Where we differ from a traditional broker is structure. Instead of asking a company to fund a landmark acquisition out of one quarter's cash, we let the name be paid for on a schedule while it is already working: on the website, on the email signature, in the deck. Both of our structures put the domain into use from the first cleared payment.

Every transaction is held at Escrow.com for the duration of the payment period. Your payments are documented, the domain is out of our hands, and release on settlement is handled by a neutral third party rather than a promise.
